Taking the streets to the museum

Right now I am still doing my artist residence at the museum of Campinas called Casa de Vidro. I feel lucky to have the chance to work there in such a great space, which includes the incredible art of the late Marco do Valle. What makes me very happy is the fact that I am able to take street art, urban interventions and elements from the streets into the museum. Check this piece of the street that I was able to get my hands on! You can drop by untill the 31st of may. Seja bem-vindx!

Building a wall inside the museum

I felt very honored when I was invited to be the resident artist during the exhibition Seriações na Obra de Marco do Valle of the late and great Marco do Valle in Campinas, Brazil. When curator Sylvia Furegatti asked me what my thoughts were about making IMPACTO for the third time, but this time inside the museum I did not hesitate for one second! IMPACTO, the urban intervention utilizing used plastic cups has appeared twice on the streets of Campinas and São Paulo and will now appear inside the museum, in Casa de Vidro / Museu da Cidade de Campinas. Let’s start by making that wall!
